Meet Absolute Pilates

Founded by Allison Zang, Absolute Pilates has grown from a single reformer in her home to a thriving multi-location studio group in central Pennsylvania. Offering inclusive, community-focused Pilates classes for every age and ability, Absolute Pilates has become a local favorite.

With locations across Pennsylvania and a growing franchise network, Allison is focused on building more than just a fitness business. Her goal is to help people move better, feel better, and live healthier lives through a welcoming, community-driven experience.

The challenge

At Absolute Pilates, success is defined by a few key metrics: retaining customers over time, converting intro offers into memberships, and keeping auto‑pay revenue strong month over month.

Reaching those goals depends on excellent customer service. Every timely response and smooth interaction helps nurture new clients into long‑term members. But delivering that level of responsiveness takes time.

Her virtual assistant was spending two to three hours each day responding to routine requests, from last‑minute booking support to membership and billing questions.

“It was a lot of time spent on requests that didn’t really need a person to handle them,” Allison shares. “That time could have been used for more strategic projects.”

And with manual processes, responses weren’t always immediate, especially outside studio hours.

“We can’t staff around the clock,” says Allison. “Delays can leave people waiting and that can affect their overall experience.”

The solution

Allison saw an opportunity to offload routine, repetitive requests to AI Inbox, freeing her team to focus on more meaningful interactions. With all of Absolute Pilates’ policies and customer data already in Momence, getting started was simple.

Now, AI Inbox handles everyday questions that once took hours of her virtual assistant’s time, from sign‑ups and billing questions to last‑minute class issues.

“No one even realizes it’s AI,” Allison says. “It feels like part of our team — friendly, on‑brand, and ready to help whenever someone reaches out.”

It also takes care of more complex tasks. Membership freezes, for example, were previously managed through forms and manual follow‑up, often leading to delays. AI Inbox now processes them instantly.

Class change requests have also become easier. When a client wants to move to a different time with the same instructor, AI Inbox makes the change seamlessly. If the request involves switching to a different instructor, the system flags it for Allison’s virtual assistant to review.

AI Inbox even supports the studio’s new‑client experience by scheduling intake calls with prospective members. This allows Allison to personally guide newcomers toward their first classes to build confidence and connection from day one.

With AI Inbox managing support in the background, instructors can stay focused on nurturing those meaningful in‑person moments that keep members coming back.

The impact

Since implementing AI Inbox, Allison has seen a clear shift in how her team spends their time and how quickly clients get the support they need. Her virtual assistant has reclaimed two to three hours every day that were previously spent combing through messages, time that’s now focused on longer‑term, strategic projects.

Response times have also dramatically improved. What once took hours, or waited until the next business day, is now handled in as little as 10 seconds — a 99% improvement.

Most importantly, responding faster and more consistently has strengthened the studio’s ability to support and retain members. With routine admin handled in the background, instructors can stay fully present with clients and nurture the friendly, community‑driven environment that keeps people coming back.
